Uma óptima opção para férias em família, com um ambiente fantástico e bem mais em conta que o Algarve, especialmente se optarem pelo tudo incluído. O hotel é de facto enorme e tem muita gente, mas a organização é tão boa que fazem um óptimo serviço a distribuir as pessoas pelos diversos restaurantes, em dois turnos. A comida é fantástica e em quantidades abundantes, a animação é uma grande ajuda e na dose certa, para crianças e adultos, com imensas actividades e espetáculos à noite, alguns deles em auditório e com uma grande qualidade. Todas as pessoas são simpáticas e prestáveis. O único reparo é mesmo a qualidade do café, que deixa muito a desejar. Foram sem dúvida umas férias maravilhosas onde não faltou nada. Vamos voltar certamente. Parabéns!

Hotel familiar, rodeado de personal encantador y al lado de un paraje natural de playa y pinares. Animaciones durante todo el día, para mayores y peques, actuaciones de noche con música en vivo, mago, baile... Infinidad de cosas que te hacen estar súper agusto y divertido.

I was over the moon in 2014 when my travel agent found this resort for me and my 2 young children 5 and 8 to have our very first holiday abroad together. We flew from Bristol to Faro which is just over the border in Portugal and then got on a comfy coach to travel over the border into Huelva, Spain (Punta-Umbria) it took between 1.5-2hrs and it was comfortable and very scenic and interesting. When we arrived at the resort we were blown away by the sheer magnitude of the resorts size. It looks quite uniform and samey from the front but when you go inside it’s a wonderful surprise, hip, trendy and comfortable, airy, super clean and aesthetically easy going on the eye. The rooms are a decent size with balcony’s a good bathroom, clean and very comfortable beds with all the amenities you need as a family. TVs play Spanish, Portuguese tv which initially disappointed me but you will soon find there is so much to do you actually won’t need it unless you want to stay in touch with the news but then that’s what tablets and smart phones can do. It’s a very Spanish resort but that makes it much better. The entertainment is authentic and Spanish and almost all staff have some experience in English language. For the size you’d expect it to be a little chaotic but it’s like a well oiled machine. There services are regular and thorough and the choice of different restaurants (excellent) well made food with plenty of healthy options, generosity with the quality of the drinks and snacks plus timely table service is commendable. The pools are varied, sparkling clean and Large.. plenty of beds available and a really gorgeous beach literally a stones thrown from the resort linked by a sweet wooden bridge. I would love to go back with my fiancé and children as soon as I can and feel sure their standards remain the same. Overall excellent value for money and even with the size you can have a very personable experience and make some very happy memories together.

Son épocas difíciles y la gente es muy incívica (mascarillas de adorno y distancia de Seguridad en el buffet de risa) . Una pena que estropee la armonía de un buen hotel. La piscina está muy bien, la comida bastante bien, la animación muy pobre, sin garbo y ponen la música para toda Punta Umbría (imposible una siesta larga).

Superhotel y no solo por sus grandes instalaciones y amplitud o extensión que abarca, sino por sus protocolos anti covid, limpieza y profesionalidad de todo su personal que velan por la seguridad de todos sus clientes. Nivel alto en su buffet con productos de gran calidad. Buena animación y puesta en escena en los musicales que representan de diez. A la llegada tuvimos un problema con la habitación, que fué solventado por la Srta. Evelyn subdirectora del hotel con eficacia y rapidez. Hotel que prometemos volver seguro.

No se si es por motivo de la pandemia, pero en mi opinión las actuaciones están demasiado cerca de las habitaciones, por lo que en ocasiones las habitaciones son ruidosas. El personal, todos de 10, encantadores y pendientes de que todo esté a tu gusto. Es mi primer todo incluido, y creo que debería llamarse "casi todo incluido" no sé quién descarta ciertas bebidas, pero es ridículo. Lo que me parece tercermundista, es que en pleno siglo XXI, tengamos que ir con un trozo de cartón para acceder a los restaurantes. Creo que bastaría con la cutre pulsera o con la tarjeta de abrir puertas.

Experiencia muy positiva. La estancia ha sido maravillosa. Aunque es un hotel familiar, hemos descansado estupendamente. Tuvimos un par de incidencias que se resolvieron muy rápido. Casi seguro que repetimos. El personal muy amable y atento.

Un buenlugar para pasar unas vacaciones de playa en familia. Las instalaciones son muy buenas en lo relativo a piscinas,zonas infantiles,deportivas y restauración. El teatro de espectáculos es inmenso. Las habitaciones tienen un buen tamaño pero los baños están un poco anticuados y pequeñospara los habitual en hoteles de esta categoría. Estuvimos primero en una habitación con balcón que era más bien una barandilla y pedimos cambio con pago de suplemento a una con terraza con vistas a la piscina,con hamacas,merece la pena el suplemento. Una propuesta de mejora es lo relativo a la ropa de baño y cama que podría ser renovado ya que esta ya un poco desgastado. El régimen de Todo Incluido es bueno pese a las normales limitaciones debido al Covid-19.Una crítica es que no existe un bufé asistido por lo que aumenta el riesgo si los comensales no llevan correctamente la mascarilla Una sobresaliente para el equipo de animación tanto para adultos como para niños

Com hospedagem neste hotel nos dias 27 março a 3 de abril, os finalistas portugueses e as suas famílias ficaram sem direito a 100% do dinheiro pago... Uma autêntica falta de respeito, em não atribuir um reembolso justo, perante os jovens e as respetivas famílias que ficaram sem a viagem e sem o dinheiro da mesma (que servia maioritariamente para pagar o hotel). Famílias essas que poderão ter se sacrificado fisicamente para conseguir oferecer um final de etapa escolar memorável aos seus educandos... Vergonha!

I simply love this resort. To call it a hotel is an understatement due to the sheer size of it. I attended a bachata convention last year October with my daughter and my best friend and we were blown away with he place. Had lovely pools which unfortunately was too cold to jump in due to the time of year we had visited. But the beach was just a small walk along a wooden walkway which runs directly from the hotel onto the wonderful beach in punta umbria which I have visited almost 20 times over 8 years. . We had breakfast and dinner each day and had soooooo much to chose from . Waiting staff were very quick at clearing tables at breakfast/dinner time which was great as we ate alot of foodings lol. Will be visiting again at some point as both my myself and my daughter miss it so much. Rooms are spacious but only thing I would say is to have some English channels but the hotel doesnt get many English visitors throughout the year. You will find mainly spanish and Portuguese come to this hotel but all the staff I spoke to spoke both spanish and English so waant a problem communicating. They also had a kids club which is open in the summer period so your kids will be entertained all day if they wanted to. Along with a lil play park and outside small water features for the to also use in the summer periods. Visit the resort and see what you think. You will not forget it

Fantástico Resort, enorme inserido numa zona de parque natural com uma excelente praia com água quente. O hotel tem 4 piscinas, a animação é muito boa. Tem ainda vários restaurantes temáticos com uma grande variedade de alimentos assim como aqualidade. Em termos ecológico, fica uma sugestão,nas zonas das piscinas e circundantes colocarem contentores para a reciclagem. Em relação ao menos bom, o preço do parque quer fora, quer no hotel,fica mais uma sugestão quem vai com tudo incluído deveria ter o parque gratuito.

A minha experiência neste Hotel foi Estranha! até ao dia de anos do meu filho tinha adorado, gostei da piscina, do quarto, dos restaurantes temáticos, da aparente limpeza, do tudo incluído (que adicionei no dia da chegada!), do atendimento dos empregados - até esse dia teria dado 5 estrelas,e ficava com vontade de voltar!) agora na comemoração do aniversário do meu filho ( o hotel disponibilizou um bolo para comemoração) após cantar os parabéns apareceu um "rato" no quarto - era no 1º andar! Sim mudaram-nos de quarto, mas para um hotel que parecia tão limpo.e tão fixe... fica-se sempre com a ideia que há maisratos e nunca mais se dorme da mesma maneira..... Foi uma pena! já estive em muitos hotéis e nunca me tinha acontecido algo igual..... Pode acontecer em qualquer sítio? sim pode, mas depois tinha vontade de vir embora e não voltar.... Como pontos negativos: o parque de estacionamento não é gratuito! paga-se, na rua da frente é mais barato mas fica ao sol, numas ruas atrás é muito mais barato! Os funcionários têm a limitação habitual de língua ( para português não há grande problema, mas o inglês assusta!!!) Os espetáculos há uma forte ligação a Espanha! O que se nota por não haver uma invasão tão grande de Ingleses como no Algarve!Globalmente 3!

Comida impecável, mesmo com o hotel lotado de gente, as coisas fluem naturalmente. Organização, limpeza, profissionalismo, entretenimento. Com regime de tudo incluído, não falta nada. Podia ter um pouco mais qualidade no som, mas mesmo assim tudo bem... Ar condicionado já um pouco antigo mas ainda trabalha. Espaço inserido perto de uma zona natural, muito bem conservada e uma praia com água a uma temperatura muito agradável 😜 Parabéns. Um sítio a voltar certamente...

Um dos melhores serviços e staff que tive oportunidade de encontrar de todos os hoteis que já visitei. Fomos com o regime Tudo Incluido e a comida e os restaurantes também foram uma muito boa experiência. Mesmo em Agosto e com o Hotel cheio, nunca tivémos problemas nem filas para ter mesa ou comida. Todos os 4 restaurantes são ótimos. Pessoalmente gostei mais do Brujula (internacional) e do Estero (nacional, peixe e marisco) mas havia sempre muita atenção da parte dos funcionários para ter tudo impecável e os clientes satisfeitos. Nunca faltava nada.Antes de acabar já estam a repor a comida e a limparem as mesas. As piscinas são boas e o staff controla a ocupação das espreguicadeiras. Não se podem reservar e ir embora. Se não forem ocupadas serão libertadas para que todos as possam utilizar. Funciona bem. A praia fica a uns agradáveis 5 minutos a pé por um passadiço de madeira que atravessa o pinhal nas dunas. Os quartos são grandes, bem climatizados tem uma TV led de 43", cama king size, roupeiro grande wc completo, mas não há ferro de passar e o cofre é pago. A animação é toda dirigida ao publico espanhol que é a grande maioria. Nos bares o atendimento é organizado com uma fila única e vários pontos de atendimento. O estacionamento na garagem do hotel é pago (12€ dia) mas vale a pena. Correu tudo muito bem. Recomendo e voltaremos certamente.

I enjoyed my stay ver much at the Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort, the hotel was located very near to the beach and many restaurants where in short walking distance. The check in went really went really smooth and the reception staff where really friendly, when I arrived at the room it was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the TV was working perfectly. There where a lot of restaurants located in the hotel and the buffet food was excellent, there where many pools and places to sit around the pools and the entertainment was great. Definitely recommend going if you get the chance as this is a great holiday resort.

This complex is very big and very Spanish but you will not vault it for any think. Very clean and lively but for the Spanish families. No larger lout no large parties of lads or girl just families having a great time. Drinks top shelf coffee and soft drinks all day. We met 10 English people all week but still had a great holiday. Will def go again. Transfer to hotel is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from faro to Spain but nice trip. Best holiday if you have kids by far,,,, no British to spoil it.

Very nice located if You're not looking for a party place, 10 min walking distance from public beach, very nice and helpfull staff. During the season delicious dinners. Before the season....it could be better. They have tasty snacks during the day. The hotel is big, always enough of sunbeds, no warmed water pool. To use Spa and gym there is an extra pay. Water served in bottles. Bike rental needs refreshment. No hotel bar on the beach.

The hotel was really conveniently situated close to the beach. We were on the first floor and the view from our balcony was to the swimming pool and kids playground. We were on half board and the breakfast 5:00 – 10:30 and evening meals 20:30 - 22:30 were very good, plenty of food to choose from but lacked healthy options in my opinion. We had a Superior Family room with balcony and it was spotless and the bed very big and comfortable. It is a massive hotel resort so you'll find most services and amenities that you expect to find in similar resorts.
