“I hate to give a Hilton a low rating but… Unfortunately our stay here was not as pleasurable as we desired. Upon arrival our digital checking did not work and we had to wait to be checked in at the counter/front desk. When we went upstairs When we began unpacking we noticed that the room had not been cleaned all the way, the bedding had hair on it hair on the pillows hair under the covers it was quite gross… Therefore we went downstairs and spoke to management who then upgraded us to another room . Unfortunately that room also had hair on the linen stains on the couch among a few other issues… Because check-in is so late at 4 o’clock by the time we realize all this it’s after five and we’re exhausted from traveling over five hours, although management offered to switch us to another room we just decided to pull all the sheets and bedding and pillows off the bed and clean the room ourselves. Management did send a housekeeper up to provide us with whatever we needed and to clean but by then we just took new sheets and new pillowcases from her and called it a day. We had another busy day scheduled the next day and have already been up way too long . When I went to go shower after the housekeeper left I realize that there’s also hair in the shower so most of the night was spent cleaning… I really love Hilton hotels and this is not the experience that I desired. However the hotel itself was beautiful it had palm trees in the lobby and all the meeting areas, hall areas and restaurant area was completely stunning! The outdoor areas were also beautiful there was a water fountain in the middle of a small pond and they also have golf which is a plus always. Management was very helpful and nice and the one housekeeper that I did see was kind also I believe this hotel just need to do a better job of being on top of their house keepers making sure all the learning is cleaned and all the rooms are thoroughly cleaned especially since I had that in my notes when I booked my hotel being that we have allergies…”

“At first this seems like a nice hotel. The outside and lobby are pretty and the staff is friendly, then you get to the room. We were placed on the 1st floor which is fine, but the second we opened our door we were hit with a very strong black mold odor. The room appeared clean enough but it had some of the worst workmanship I've seen in a hotel. The wallpaper looked like it had been applied by someone who had never done wallpaper before and it was peeling in several places; there were cracks in the ceiling in the wonky bathroom; the paneling around the sink was falling off. Between the mold smell and the uncomfortable bed, my husband barely slept and we both woke up with bad allergies from the mold. The room is also windowless except for one awkward sliding glass door that opens up directly to an event space that was actively being used so we just had to keep the curtains closed our whole stay. My only positive comment about the room was that the pillows were nice. The cost of the room when we stayed was nearly double than the majority of hotels I have stayed at, including ones in D.C., and they were all much nicer and a much better experience than my stay here. We even had a wedding block price. There is zero reason why we should have been charged what we were for the night for that disgusting, C-class room. We did complain to the front desk and they just said they would let someone know. That is it. I will never stay here again.”
