“The hotel has beautiful facilities. The rooms are well appointed and a great size. The pool and gym are well maintained. Kind staff. Everything was very clean. Fantastic breakfast (if you're willing to pay).HOWEVER, all of this was unfortunately overshadowed by negatives. The property is far out of town and there are no restaurants or shops within a 10-15 minute walk. Obviously this is not the hotel's fault, but I'd advise other travelers to stay closer to town. It looks much closer on a map than it actually is.The hotel takes advantage of its isolation by charging exorbitant prices for everything. Bike rentals are 20 EUR/day/person. (For reference, a taxi to town is 6-7 EUR for 4 people). Breakfast, while great, is 25 EUR/day/person. Sunbeds at the hotel's beach are NOT included in the room rate. You will pay a minimum of 15-20 EUR/day for the luxury of using a bed, plus food and drinks. I've stayed at many similar beach hotels and I cannot recall any others charging guests for sunbeds.Beyond breakfast, we found food options to be relatively limited. A pre-emptive charge will be put on your card to cover incidentals. This is not a common practice and felt odd.Lastly, considering many guests are not Spanish or Catalan speaking, surprisingly few staff speak solid English. I hesitate writing this because English speakers shouldn't expect everyone they encounter to accommodate them, but this was surprising for a property of this caliber.If you book a deal with many of these extras included, I'm sure you'll enjoy the hotel. If not, be prepared to pay 40-60 EUR more/day/person to get the full experience.”
