Chipped paint everywhere. I booked through choice hotels then when we got here they changed the price and wouldn’t stand by what I showed them. No WiFi. No vending machines. Poor customer service. The carpet was nasty in the room. No smoke detector just am I got eye sore on the ceiling. The tv got 2 channels and you couldn’t even tell what was on it. The a/c couldn’t even cool the room down.

If I could give 0 stars I would. **AVOID THIS DUMP** No pool, smoke alarms DO NOT work, no breakfast, and I kid you not...THERE IS NO HOT WATER!! I was told to let it run for 15 minutes and it should begin getting warm...NOPE I ran the water for 20 minutes to no avail. The refrigerators, none of them work, the ice from the leaking and mold/slim covered ice machine smelled like rotting sewage. The carpet in the room was soaked to the point I couldn't take my shoes off. The air in the building is damp and thick. If you walk around the building you will notice that all of the surrounding grass is saturated in standing water. I believe the entire building is sitting underwater. I made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they will shut this place down. I am a Rewards member and I I cannot believe that this particular Hotel has not been condemned, or at least taken off of their website. It is not suitable for lodging. ** Consider yourself warned!

I will admit, a few of the reviews made me a little nervous after booking at this hotel, but we had no problems here at all. Sure, the paint is chipped in a few places, but our room was very clean and smelled like it, there were NOT any bed bugs, and the pool was a lot of fun! I certainly didn’t see any ‘thugs’ or ‘gang activity’ during my stay. They no longer serve breakfast, as the manager has replied to other posts, but we knew that ahead of time. There was a $75 deposit for each room (as others have stated, so we knew ahead of time), but that can be either cash or on a major credit card. I put it on a card and they explained that it doesn’t even actually take the money out, just holds it. The wonderful receptionists even took a couple extra minutes to get us rooms on the first floor that had been recently cleaned when they saw that we had a lot of luggage. We had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area! Thanks for the great service!

Very disappointed. Have been staying here since 2008, when I had met the manager Shannon she was very nice, didn't like that one day to the next she seemed bipolar. I lost my home due to a automobile accident I stayed here spent over 400 for room, also brought more customers when they didn't even have 5 rooms occupied, I had my things in my room she promised to hop my belongings I mean all my food to items I owned that can't be replaced like my sons ashes and she said she would hold them 30 days well that was a lie. She said she took my things to a goodwill store but gave me empty suit case then one they went through left what was not valuable my sons ashes can never be replaced, there carpets are full of dirt, smells like a lot smoking lounge, pool was dirty, night clerk was rude, the lounging area was filthy, microwaves disgusting behind bathroom doors never cleaned in rooms and to top it off never had hot water. I think they need new management along with staff. The only one that was descent was Mike he was very awesome and understanding.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past four months as I have been working in the area and I am from Michigan. I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms and property as a whole to be clean and tidy. The rates are reasonable. Maybe a little more expensive than some of the other places in the area but I stayed at some of the others before Econo Lodge and it is worth paying a little extra. Simply put, I would not hesitate to ever stay here again if I am here in the area on business or pleasure.
