Rooms should be updated, but for the rest it's all excellent. Best is the location near the main square and theaters. Still a 15 minute walk (includes 5 minutes of traffic lights as they are really bad in UB towards pedestrians) to the state Department Store and Beatles Square. The adjoining mall is not big, but not small rather. 4 floors including a foodcourt. It's a mix of shops with the more exlusuve ones on the ground floor. Os quartos devem ser atualizados, mas para o resto é tudo excelente. Melhor é a localização perto da praça principal e dos teatros. Ainda a 15 minutos a pé (inclui 5 minutos de semáforos, pois são muito ruins em UB para pedestres) até a loja de departamentos estadual e a Beatles Square. O shopping adjacente não é grande, mas também não é pequeno. 4 andares, incluindo uma praça de alimentação. É um mix de lojas com as mais exclusivas no térreo.

The food court doesn't have shared tables, so it's difficult to get different food for each person. A praça de alimentação não tem mesas compartilhadas, então fica difícil conseguir comidas diferentes para cada pessoa.

Las habitaciones deberían actualizarse, pero por lo demás todo excelente. Lo mejor es la ubicación cerca de la plaza principal y los teatros. Sigue a 15 minutos a pie (incluye 5 minutos de semáforos, ya que son realmente malos en UB hacia los peatones) hasta los grandes almacenes estatales y la plaza de los Beatles. El centro comercial contiguo no es grande, pero tampoco pequeño. 4 pisos incluyendo un patio de comidas. Es una mezcla de tiendas con las más exclusivas en la planta baja.

Have some trendy brand stores that are very expensive. Restaurants service is kind of slow. Sometimes escalator gets out of service.

Great experience. Big room. Location is the best in town. Recognised my Jade status so upgraded to 18th from and granted lounge access. Breakfast is good but not special. Ótima experiência. Quarto grande. Localização é a melhor da cidade. Reconhecido meu status de Jade, atualizado para o 18º e concedido acesso ao lounge. O café da manhã é bom, mas não especial.

Beautiful rooms, disastrous check in and housekeeping staff, it’s as if they were making you a favour when you ask for something. Front desk and contact phone almost impossible to reach. Quartos lindos, check-in desastroso e equipe de limpeza, é como se estivessem fazendo um favor quando você pede algo. Recepção e telefone de contato quase impossíveis de alcançar.

hotel de luxo?? Mais aparências do que aparências ..... em um hotel de luxo a comida não é fria, aqui muitas vezes é. Os quartos são muito bons, modernos e limpos... A abordagem é um desastre no trânsito em Ulaanbaatar....

¿¿hotel de lujo?? Más apariencias que apariencias... en un hotel de lujo la comida no es fría, aquí lo es a menudo. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, modernas y limpias... El enfoque es un desastre en el tráfico en Ulaanbaatar....

We didn't stay here but used the facilities. There's no getting away from it, this is the best hotel in Ulaanbaatar. It's pricey for sure, but the whole place is classy. Traffic is SOOOOOO bad in Ulaanbaatar, that the price to stay here would be something I was willing to swallow to save my sanity (traffic here makes Delhi look like a German autobahn).We used the Nadaam bar on the 1st floor, super cool and nice cocktails. I was also using the fitness centre (3rd floor of the mall but connects directly into the hotel via walkway). 25m pool, 5 or 6 swimming lanes, wasn't very busy and it cost 50k tugrik (about 13 eur). Very reasonable for the service you got. That also included the gym if needed.Didn't eat there, although used the Imax cinema in the Shangrila Mall complex next door (Topgun Maverick - awesome). If I was going back to Ulaanbaatar, i'd swallow the price, and enjoy the luxury. This is a true 5 star hotel. Nós não ficamos aqui, mas usamos as instalações. Não há como fugir disso, este é o melhor hotel em Ulaanbaatar. É caro, com certeza, mas todo o lugar é elegante. O trânsito é TÃOOOOO ruim em Ulaanbaatar, que o preço para ficar aqui seria algo que eu estava disposto a engolir para salvar minha sanidade (o trânsito aqui faz Delhi parecer uma autobahn alemã).Usamos o bar Nadaam no 1º andar, coquetéis super legais e agradáveis. Eu também estava usando o centro de fitness (3º andar do shopping, mas conecta-se diretamente ao hotel por meio de uma passarela). Piscina de 25m, 5 ou 6 raias, não estava muito movimentada e custou 50k tugrik (cerca de 13 eur). Muito razoável para o serviço que você recebeu. Isso também incluía a academia, se necessário.Não comer lá, embora usado o cinema Imax no complexo Shangrila Mall ao lado (Topgun Maverick - incrível). Se eu voltasse para Ulaanbaatar, engoliria o preço e aproveitaria o luxo. Este é um verdadeiro hotel 5 estrelas.

The hotel offers excellent facilities; the gym is equipped with good quality machines while the hotel rooms are spacious and clean. During winter, one might be lucky to have a view of the snowed down mountain. Level of service provided by the staff especially at breakfast is unmatched. There is a host named Zoloo; humble, efficient, and takes pride in rendering unparalleled customer service.

My favorite place to gather and catch up friends is definitely is Naadam. Delicious pizza and burgers get along nicely with cold beer and cocktails. On some occasions UB's famous DJ plays from their finest sets. Also Cafe park is without doubt our family's go to brunch restaurant. Even if you're only visiting restaurants hotel receptionists are absolutely helpful and kind. They provide any information around hotel and give their helpings hands whenever you need them. Without a doubt only 5-star hotel that will meet your expectations. I'm sure everyone will enjoy time you'll spend there.

Pasé tres semanas alojado en el Shangri La. Lamentablemente, por motivos laborales no pude aprovechar todas las facilidades que hay a disposición del huesped, pero todo lo que viví es superior a lo que uno puede imaginarse. Lo mejor (dejando de lado la comodidad de todas la facilidades), La cordialidad del personal del Hotel, todos super dedicados a hacernos sentir bienvenidos. Quien pueda disfrutar de este maravilloso hotel, pues que lo haga!!!!

Shangri La UB is a nice property, probably one of the best in the city. My friend and I had a few beers in the Belgian bar next door and decided to finish at Nadaam in SL. What a disappointment...
