“The room was fine. No breakfast because of COVID (they give you a bag with prepackaged food). The main drawback was the strong presence of cockroaches. You probably wouldn't detect them if you go to bed at a normal hour (around 10pm) but if you stay up as late as 3am, you most likely will find a large roach crawling on the wall by the windows. They also can be found around the fridge on the hard flooring. You might find one on its back thinking it is dead but chances are it is not. Cockroaches are only active at night for about 4 hours then actually try to hide and go to sleep. When disturbed in this state, they wake up and try to scuttle away. Cockroaches are also able to "play dead" if they detect danger. Make sure they are actually dead when you try to get rid of them. You will most likely see them more if it has recently rained outside. If you ask discreetly, management will send the maintenance man to spray your room. The chemical that is sprayed is barely tolerable after awhile and will resonate in your throat making you want to cough. These are "extended stay" suites (that's what ES stands for), so rooms are only cleaned once a week. The furniture in the lobby area needs to be replaced. Leather on the chairs is almost completely peeled off. They have a laundry room, but you have to pay for it with quarters.”
