Um ótimo hotel. Uma boa opção para quem vai à San Francisco. O serviço de quarto é ótimo e todos os funcionários são muito atenciosos.Pode ser necessário antecipar o pagamento, e será cobrada uma taxa no cartão de crédito que será cancelada após a estadia (achei meio estranho isso, mas deu tudo certo). A localização é um meio termo. O Hotel fica em frente a praça do bairro japonês, é um local muito legal com várias lojas tipicamente japonesas. A algumas quadras dali também ficam alguns restaurantes italianos e uma sorveteria incrível (fica na rua Califórnia, se não me engano), além também dos tradicionais Wallgreen's e Burger King. A parte ruim da localização é a distância entre pontos turísticos, porém do outro lado da rua tem um ponto de ônibus que passam um atrás do outro e seguem para diversos destinos, bem como é possível reservar um táxi na recepção do hotel. Outra coisa 'top' do hotel, é a possibilidade de reservar a van para o aeroporto pagando cerca de apenas 12 dólares.Recomendo esse hotel. Um ótimo lugar para quem procura um bom custo-benefício.

Adorar o vinho / saquê happy hour. Meu quarto era espaçoso e encantador. Serviço de recepção foi eficiente, mas não especialmente amigável. Localização é incrível, eo preço foi à direita para SF. Nenhuma opção de chá / café quente no quarto !? Minha única reclamação real.

Fiquei aqui quando tivemos que levar minha mãe deficiente para o hospital para cirurgia. Embora o estacionamento na garagem seja limitado, eles têm acesso para deficientes, além de fácil acesso para pessoas com deficiência (somente acesso à área da garagem). A equipe foi muito acolhedora quando tivemos que prolongar a estadia e facilitou a estadia no mesmo quarto, mesmo sendo de última hora. A equipe foi muito simpática. Os quartos eram espaçosos com 3 adultos. Tivemos um quarto com 2 camas queen size. Banheiro tem porta de correr que separa a pia do vaso sanitário e chuveiro. Há um frigobar no quarto, além de mesa e cadeira. Fácil acesso a plugues para carregar telefones celulares. O banheiro é fornecido com xampu de tamanho normal, condicionador e lavagem do corpo, caso você não goste de fazer as malas. Todos os ingredientes naturais e você tem a opção de comprar o seu próprio. Se você esqueceu algo, existe uma lista bastante grande de itens que podem ajudar, incluindo conversores de tomadas.

Ótima localização para visitar a cena local. Os quartos eram confortáveis, limpos e o serviço foi amigável e útil. Nice little window bay, onde você pode abrir uma janela e aproveitar o sol. Restaurante localizado no prédio para que você possa comer e beber com facilidade. A única desvantagem foi que não havia serviço de quarto nem cafeteira no quarto - embora haja café de cortesia no lobby durante a manhã.

Acabamos aqui graças à agência de viagens Pack Up and Go. Quarto era espaçoso e muito confortável. Nós realmente apreciamos o vinho e saquê à noite. Boa localização na cidade do Japão, mas não é a melhor se você estiver procurando mais perto das áreas turísticas.

Ended up here thanks to Pack Up and Go travel agency. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the wine and sake in the evening. Good location in Japan Town but not the best if you're looking for closer to the tourist areas.

Nice location to visit local scene. Rooms was comfy, clean, and service was friendly and helpful. Nice little window bay where you can crack a window and enjoy the sun. Restaurant located in building so you can get food and drinks easy enough. Only down side was no room service, and no in room coffee maker - though there is complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Stayed here when we had to take my disabled Mom to the hospital for surgery. Although the parking in their garage is limited, they have handicapped parking as well as easy access for people with disabilities (garage area access only). The staff was very accommodating when we had to extend our stay and made it easy for us to stay in the same room even with it being last minute. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were spacious with 3 adults. We had a room with 2 Queen sized beds. Bathroom has sliding door that separates the sink from the toilet and shower. There is a mini refrigerator in the room as well as a desk and chair. Easy access to plugs to charge cell phones. Bathroom comes with full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash in case you don't like to pack your own. All natural ingredients and you have the option of purchasing your own. If you forgot something there is a rather large list of items they can help with including converters for outlets.

The Kimpton Buchanan is located in a clean safe part of town and has all the restaurants and bars that you need. Their free wine happy hour everyday is a bonus!

Great location in the heart of Japantown, fantastic service. The atmosphere was focused on making sure you were relaxed the moment you stepped into the hotel.

Compared to some other hotels in the area, this place was solid. Free wine from 5 to 6 pm, free coffee from 7 am to about 9 am, a firepit on the patio (ask for it to be lit), clean rooms, quiet, mini fridge you can use. My only complaint is the lack of a desk in the room, when there would be plenty of space for it. For gym buffs, the "gym" is laughably tiny and also serves as a path to the patio. It is an easy and safe walk to Fillmore Street.

Room was comfortable, but be aware amenities are thin. Just go for a room

Love the wine/sake happy hour. My room was spacious and lovely. Front desk service was efficient but not especially friendly. Location is awesome, and price was right for SF. No hot tea/ coffee option in room!? My only real complaint.

I have no idea how this hotel is apart of the Kimpton brand!!! I’ve stayed in better $80 a night hotel rooms. No porters. Restaurant is awful and has terrible service. The rooms are old and desperately need a refurbish. I won’t even mention the bathrooms. Complained about our room the first evening we arrived and was told Managment would be in contact with us the next day. Never happened. We had our wedding during our stay here and do you think the hotel would give a congratulations card or maybe a bottle of bubbles!!! NO NO NO.

Este hotel es increíble el staff es bastante amable y dispuesto a hacer cualquier cosa que usted le pida y que esté dentro de sus posibilidades, algo importante es que el hotel aún está en el proceso de transición, de hecho puede ser algo incomodo o inesperado pero las habitaciones son bastante cómodas y completamente renovadas
