When The Ritz first opened its doors in 1906, it was considered one of the greatest hotels in the world. Conceived by the famous hotelier César Ritz with the aim of becoming the ultimate destination for guests looking to stay at the most luxurious hotel in the land, no expense was spared on its opulent interiors and lavish furnishings. This exclusive city hotel lies on Piccadilly, at the heart of London and is the ideal starting point from whence to explore the top sights of England's premier metropolis. A diverse selection of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and various important shopping districts, the Royal Academy of Arts, and Burlington House, as well as the exclusive auction houses, Sotheby's and Christies, are all to be found close to the hotel. Green Park is the nearest underground station and may be reached on.

“Afternoon Tea. We booked in for AT and weren’t very sure whether it would live up to our high expectations. But of course it did, with easy friendly, prompt service and some really great food. The most amazing thing is that there’s no sense of being hurried and if you want more food then they simply bring it, no questions asked. As much as you want. And there’s more than shown on the menu as well. Really enjoyable and totally worth it.”

“We were lucky to grab a last-minute slot on Saturday but late afternoon. The sandwiches are not too surprising, but fresh scones really make me feel wow. The cakes are absolutely the signature of the Ritz. The tea is delightful as well. Highly recommended to have a try if it’s your first trial of British Afternoon Tea.”

It was a dream. Lovely. Beautiful. I wished I could have tea. But couldn't get in. My husband didn't want to change his sneakers. Excellent that Ritz offers shoes to whomever needs them. Beautiful customer service. All are welcome. You don't need to be royal to get in. But. They make you feel royal after you step in.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea at the Ritz. The Palm Court was absolutely stunning and the service from the staff was fantastic. They offered extra sandwiches and cakes, which were all delicious, and even brought round some extra cakes to try.
If you're looking to arrange an extra special occasion for somebody, this will not disappoint! Thanks to Deepak and the kitchen team for the tremendous food and the waiting staff who made it a memorable birthday experience for my mum.

I recently took my mother here for an afternoon tea. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The quality of the food and tea was exquisite. Well worth the money and no doubt we will be back again. Thank you.
