Staying here currently. F&B and hospitality are 5 star, no doubt. Decor is fun kitsch but needs an elegant eye to take it up just a notch- no major issue, reflected in lower nightly price point. The rooms however fall very short. Problems so far include no hot water, patio lights not operational, AC in room not blowing cold. Basic, easy to solve issues that are marring the experience for no reason at all. Front patio and back patio are useless with overgrown vegetation and excessive bugs so these areas are unusable. Hoping the hotel can turn this around.

Nada como uma experiência W em qualquer lugar que você escolher para ir, e Punta de Mita está no topo de seus resorts. Três restaurantes principais, todos com serviço excepcional e cardápio de primeira qualidade. Tentei a opção supremo inclusiva durante a minha estadia e é uma bagunça difícil, entre assinar recibos e dar gorjeta e eu simplesmente não faria isso de novo. Eu preferia o quarto com vista para o lago a vista para o mar, já que você fica olhando para o mar o dia todo, e voltando para um pátio que fica no leito de um lago tranquilo é exatamente perfeito. Há duas piscinas, muitas cabanas (o benefício real do pacote incluso é não ter que pagar por elas todos os dias) e música W por toda parte. Mal posso esperar para voltar com as crianças - este lugar atende bem as famílias, embora minha esposa e eu estivéssemos tentando escapar de tudo isso. E o Away Spa esconde um elegante oásis, com uma bela piscina em meio à selva. Um deve usar.

O resort tem uma vibração muito legal, ele definitivamente define sua própria assinatura dentro dos hotéis W. Há decorações interessantes e super coloridas em todos os lugares que o mantêm entretido, não importa para onde você olhe. O design do banheiro é fantástico, especialmente os quartos na selva, com toda a grade de bambu. A única reclamação seria que não há muita ou nenhuma água quente nos chuveiros. O restaurante de café-da-manhã é ótimo, assim como o bar de surf / praia. A equipe é muito simpática e atenciosa, com exceção de alguns servidores do restaurante Spice Market, que não são muito atenciosos. A área é tranquila e privada e, como a maioria dos resorts fica em um lugar remoto, não há nada ao seu redor. Portanto, a menos que você tenha um veículo, você está preso lá pagando seus preços exorbitantes ou pegando um táxi de US $ 100 em qualquer outro lugar. A propriedade vale a pena visitar!

Nothing like a W experience anywhere you choose to go, and Punta de Mita ranks high among their resorts. Three main restaurants that all have exceptional service and top shelf menu. I tried the inclusive supreme option during my stay and it is an awkward mess, between signing receipts and tipping and I just wouldn't do it again. I preferred the lake view room over the ocean view, as you are staring at the ocean all day anyway, and coming back to a patio that sits on a tranquil lake bed is exactly perfect. There are two pools, many cabanas (the real benefit of inclusive package is not having to pay for these each day), and the W music throughout. Can't wait to come back with the kids - this place serves families well, even though my wife and I were doing an escape from all that. And the Away Spa hides an elegant Oasis, with a beautiful pool in a jungle setting. A must use.

The resort has a really cool vibe, it definitely sets its own signature within the W hotels. There are interesting and super colorful decorations everywhere that keep you entertained, no matter where you look at. The bathroom design is fantastic, especially the rooms in the jungle, with all the bamboo railing. The only complaint would be that there is not much or no hot water in the showers. The breakfast restaurant is great, so is the surf/beach bar. The staff is pretty friendly and accommodating, with the exception of some servers at the Spice Market restaurant, who are not too attentive. The area is quiet and private, and as most resorts located in a remote place, there's nothing around it. Therefore, unless you have a vehicle, you are stuck there paying their steep prices or taking a $100 taxi ride anywhere else. The property is worth visiting!

Esta foi a minha primeira vez na costa oeste do México e neste maravilhoso hotel W. O próprio hotel é impressionante. Tudo, desde o terreno ao azulejo, a piscina, os quartos e a decoração, foram meticulosamente pensados. Tivemos um tempo maravilhoso lá e recomendo para quem quer visitar. Esperamos voltar para uma segunda visita em breve! Absolutamente surpreendente.

Nem sei por onde começar !!! A partir do minuto em que nos registramos, ficamos maravilhados com este hotel e com a localização! Nós se hospedaram 30 junho-7 julho 2021. A equipe aqui é INCRÍVEL e nos fez sentir como parte de sua família. Quando partimos, foi como dizer adeus aos nossos irmãos e irmãs. Assim que chegamos, jantamos e foi INCRÍVEL! Em seguida, fomos direto para a praia e mergulhou na água de 80 graus, seguido de um mergulho nas piscinas superaquecidas e limpas. Nadar no oceano às 21h é um verdadeiro deleite! Yolani na recepção foi maravilhoso !!! Jaime, nosso motorista de carrinho de golfe favorito, era o melhor! Nossa filha acabou de fazer uma cirurgia no joelho e Jaime garantiu que ela tivesse o melhor transporte de ida e volta para seu quarto. David, Abraham e Michael foram os melhores servidores na sala de jantar principal. Nosso garçom da piscina, Daniel (Donnie) fez nossa viagem. Nós não experimentamos o spa, mas caminhamos por ele e definitivamente parece ser um lugar incrível para ir! Esta também foi uma viagem de surf para os maridos / filhos e o point break certo no hotel não decepcionou. Eles surfaram várias vezes ao dia, não precisaram sair. Nós fomos para a praia de La Lancha que eu recomendo! É um pouco de caminhada pela selva (então traga bastante repelente de insetos), mas valeu a pena !!! Praia incrível e ótimo surf especialmente para iniciantes. O W era incrivelmente seguro e eles o guardavam como uma fortaleza. Estas foram as melhores férias em que já estivemos e a equipe do W foi a cereja do bolo. Definitivamente vai ser decepcionante para ir para os hotéis dos EUA, pois o serviço nunca vai se comparar. Se você é surfista, não precisa sair deste hotel. Até meu filho de 12 anos se divertiu muito surfando aqui.

O resort ainda é bom, mas decaiu nos últimos 4 anos. Os quartos seriam reformados, o café da manhã não está nem perto do que costumava ser, o serviço tornou-se lento. Mas ainda é um ótimo resort.

Absolutamente me apaixonei! 💕 Tudo estava literalmente perfeito. A equipe foi incrível e estava lá para garantir que tudo fosse perfeito para mim e meu namorado! Um agradecimento muito especial a: Abraham, Eduardo, Raymundo e Jasiel vcs fizeram a nossa viagem especial significar muito! Mais uma vez obrigado.O jantar no messa1 foi de longe o melhor jantar de todos os tempos. A comida era excepcional e obrigado Hector por isso!Quanto ao hotel, ficamos no oásis de suíte do oceano. A vista era linda, claro, mas eu não gosto de insetos lol então foi isso. Diferente do que o serviço de quarto foi muito rápido e atencioso, bem como o bar ao lado da praia. Definitivamente, eu recomendaria uma estadia aqui. O hotel é extremamente seguro, o que foi uma grande vantagem para nós também.E lembre-se de que você nunca pode ter muita tequila! Obtenha todas as vitaminas.

The resort is still nice but went downhill over the last 4 years.Rooms would benefit from renovation, breakfasts are not even close to what they used to be, service became slow.But it still a great resort.

I don't even know where to begin!!! From the minute we checked in we were in awe of this hotel and the location! We stayed June 30-July 7, 2021. The staff here is AMAZING and made us feel like a part of their family. When we left it was like saying goodbye to our brothers and sisters. As soon as we arrived, we had dinner and it was AMAZING! Then we went straight to the beach and dove into the 80-degree water, followed by a swim in the super warm and clean pools. Swimming in the ocean at 9:00 pm is a real treat! Yolani at the front desk was wonderful!!! Jaime, our favorite golf cart driver, was the best! Our daughter just had knee surgery and Jaime made sure she had the best transportation to and from her room. David, Abraham, and Michael were the best servers in the main dining area. Our pool waiter, Daniel (Donnie) made our trip. We didn't try the spa but walked through it and it definitely appears to be an awesome place to go! This was also a surf trip for the husbands/sons and the right point break at the hotel didn't disappoint. They surfed several times a day, didn't need to leave. We did go to La Lancha beach which I highly recommend! It's a bit of a trek through the Jungle (so bring plenty of bug spray), but it was so worth It!!! Amazing beach and great surf especially for beginners. The W was so incredibly safe and they had it guarded like a fortress. This was the best vacation we have ever been on and the staff at the W was the cherry on the top. Definitely going to be disappointing to go to US hotels as the service won't ever compare. If you're a surfer you don't need to leave this hotel. Even my 12-year-old son had a great time surfing here.

This was my first time to the western coast of Mexico and to this wonderful W hotel. The hotel itself is stunning. Everything from the grounds, to the tile, the pool, rooms, and decorations have been meticulously thought out. We had a wonderful time there and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit. We hope to go back for a second visit soon! Absolutely amazing.

This past week, I stayed at the W Punta Mita for several days, followed by the St. Regis.Both are gorgeous resorts, but the W is far and away where I will choose to spend my money going forward.The St.Regis wasn't bad, lovely views, tasty food, helpful staff, but it was nothing compared to the feeling of being at the W.The W staff is what made the biggest impact. At the W you felt like friends and family. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and attentive and seemed genuinely happy to a assist with anything we needed.They remembered our names, that we were celebrating a birthday, remembered our food allergies and made incredible suggestions.The food was also spectacular. From the fresh ceviche to the argentinian bbq on the beach, to even the room service we often ordered for breakfast.I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people and my experience at the W. I cannot wait to get back.

THE GOLD STANDARD of EXCELLENCE. Out of 600+ days at spg/Bonvoy property in 15+ countries, I can confidently say that the team here knows what best-in-class customer experience and service looks like. This is true for every interaction - from check in (Arthur!!), at breakfast, at dinner at the Spice Market ... they make you feel special and welcome, especially as an Ambassador member. Two things they are excellent at that I’ve never seen other hotels do well - they are actually very responsive + communicative through the chat on the app and it actually feels like a conversation, and they acknowledge your loyalty at restaurants and put in special care. This property and the team should really teach a class to other properties (esp the ones in the US) on what best in class looks like. Thank you for the amazing experience!!!Oh yes and of course the property itself is gorgeous!!! :) feels like you’re in paradise. The pool, hot tub. Jungle. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
