“On arrival, we had to wait 10-15 minutes before being able to check in. More staff are needed on the front desk. Same problem checking out. The front desk reception staff member we dealt with on check in didn't greet us with a smile and simply logged us in, seeming to be quite distracted and unwelcoming. There was what appeared to be a trainee member of staff working with her. When the phone rang, she barked at the trainee to 'get that'! Room was fine, clean, but nothing particularly special. There was some mould in one corner of the shower cubicle, relatively minor all things considered, but which could have been remedied with a bit of scrubbing. More attention to detail needed for a hotel of this quality charging upwards of £300 per night. Breakfast good quality. Evening meal selection poor.
