Nós hospedado aqui uma noite em nossa lua. Foi muito bom. Não somos pessoas elegantes e o quarto foi um presente. Nós apreciamos a nossa estadia. Minha única reclamação é que, uma vez que o hotel é histórico, não havia isolamento acústico no quarto. Eles nos disseram isso quando chegamos. Podíamos ouvir tudo que acontecia lá fora, o que dificultava o sono para quem não está acostumado com o barulho de Nova York. Caso contrário, o serviço e café da manhã incluído foram excelentes.

We stayed here one night on our honeymoon. It was very nice. We’re not fancy people and the room was a gift. We enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that since hotel is historic, there was no sound proofing in the room. They did tell us this when we arrived. We could hear everything going on outside, which made it difficult to sleep for someone who isn’t used to NYC noise. Otherwise, the service and included breakfast were great.

Just love this place I just hope they bring back bath tubs, Everything else is perfect as a writer it's such a wonderful historic place for writers, Love the bar and the restaurant it's very elegant and old world, And who could forget Matilda Wonderful service very easy walk right in and go right to my Room.

On the Historic register. Very small rooms, we did not get the upgrade we requested. However they did give us breakfast every morning and that can be quite pricey in the big apple. The experience was great but we will not stay here again.

Solo conozco el precioso vestíbulo de época, muy bien restaurado, recuperándose también el ambiente de otros tiempos gloriosos del hotel. En penumbra, resulta muy cálido y acogedor, sentarse para descansar y evadirse. Y la verdad es que se consigue. Los precios altos. Dos cervezas por 20 dólares me parece demasiado.

Este hotel não é nada como Marriott. É único e acolhedor. Praticamente todos os quartos de hotel de Manhattan são pequenos, então você pode muito bem ficar em um hotel que é um dos mais antigos da cidade com um gato que fica no balcão de check-in. Os funcionários foram simpáticos e como um membro de platina eu recebi café-da-manhã gratuito no restaurante. Mas não há serviço de café da manhã durante o fim de semana e eles te dão 750 pontos Marriott em vez disso. Eles têm uma academia no 2º andar que não é muito ruim. Um nice estadia hotel em Nova York.

Ótima experiência!O hotel é lindo e cheio de história, os quartos são um pouco pequeno, mas acolhedor e chique, ea equipe é extremamente amigável. O hotel fica a menos de duas quadras da Times Square, portanto, é muito conveniente. O bar e restaurante são bastante sofisticado e decentemente razoáveis para um lugar histórico e bonito.Hamlet o gato é adorável e bastante amigável, eo nosso porteiro Pedro foi um grande rapaz com um bom senso de humor e muito acolhedor.Apenas uma nota estranha é que eu estava recebendo choques estáticos em todos os lugares, mas isso fez minha esposa e eu rir.

This hotel is nothing like Marriott. It's unique and cozy. Pretty much all Manhattan hotel rooms are small so you might as well stay at a hotel that is one of the oldest in the city with a cat that hangs out on the check in counter. The staffs were friendly and as a platinum member I got free breakfast at the restaurant. But there's no breakfast service during the weekend and they give you 750 Marriott points instead. They have a gym on the 2nd floor which is not too bad. Overall a nice stay hotel in NYC.

Great experience!The hotel is gorgeous and full of history, the rooms are a bit small but cozy and fancy, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The hotel is just under two city blocks from Time Square, so it's very convenient. The bar and restaurant are quite upscale and decently priced for a historic and beautiful place.Hamlet the cat is adorable and quite friendly, and our concierge Peter was a great guy with a good sense of humor and very welcoming.Only weird note is I kept getting static shocks everywhere, but it made my wife and I laugh.

Wow, beautiful place. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Plugs on both niteside tables. The people were very friendly. Eddie took us to our room and told us some of the history. Note: it was the first hotel to allow single women to rent rooms. The architecture in the hotel is stunning. The bed seems comfortable (just got checked in). More notes after an evening in the Blue Bar and Breakfast. Oh, of spectacular note is that the hotel has a hotel cat named Hamlet. Ok. Update the next morning. Breakfast us great. The corned beef hash us made from deli corned beef. You can taste the spices used. Poached eggs on the corned beef and the Benedict were perfect. Chuck has been here 40 years and was amazing. Great stories and fantastic service. 10/10 we will not stay anywhere else in NYC.

What a nice Hotel! The lobby is great and the staff is just the best. We spend just two nights there and were really happy. So, why 3 stars? The room!! The bed was really bad, old I would say. The bathroom was small, very small. But other than that the hotel was really nice.

A literary landmark! Now run by Marriott, so pay with points if you have them, I suppose. Convenient to all midtown, Broadway and Times Square attractions. Excellent service at the front desk, restaurant and doormen. Room, or the Vanity Fair suite, where I stayed, was super comfortable and clean. Excellent shower. My new favorite place to stay in NYC.

Appalled that we were not notified that the bar and restaurant are closed when booking here. The website and Bonvoy app still show the regular dining options as available today, with open hours, etc...
